😁 I booked servers and adding servers with SSDNodes
We migrated almost all of our servers into SSDNodes one by one starting from Sep. 2019.
The performance of their NVMe Servers are great.
We use 48GB and 32GB NVMe Servers.
Best value for money (undisputed).
Good customer support with in a reasonable duration of time.
The support team is responsive and ALSO the Founder / CEO responds to customers directly.
Down time is very rare and only when they were upgrading the whole platform to improve the performance of ALL the servers within.

😠 Avoid At All Costs - To Good To Be True
Been with them for several years, never really had any problems with them. And service was good, recently decided to go for a 3 year service plan with them, based on past experience and the price, though it was a good deal. It was not a good deal. Suffered from extremely poor service, as others have noted, you do not get what you are promised. Services are severely oversold. Seems like a bait and switch they may have been okay a few years ago, but now its just oversold and you do not get anywhere near the resources that are promised. I tried to cancel within the 14 days of the new service, but they do not allow you to cancel for a refund, only a credit. Why would I want a credit if the service they are going to provide is nowhere near what they can deliver? It's a bait and switch, avoid at all costs.

Pricing seems good and the service is always stable for a couple weeks, but after the 14 day refund period things deteriorate quickly and you're stuck.
Performance becomes so bad you can barely keep an SSH connection alive to do anything, and http timeouts occur frequently even with static content.

😠 Scamming company
this is a scamming company. they charged me a year renewal one day before it was due and my PayPal. And now are refusing to refund the $149 they took from my PayPal account. instead of offering a credit. Obviously I don't want a credit if I want to cancel service. I've reported this to PayPal as unauthorized activity because I didn't authorize the renewal. This wasn't on a recurring PayPal plan I don't know how they were able to charge again but the charge me $149 and refused to return it. I reported it to ssdnodes within 3 hours of this happening. I set the service up November 19th 2019. They charged me for the renewal on November 18th 2020 one day before it expired. So I had canceled it before it has expired but still for a company tough attempt to hold my money like this is unbelievable. No I don't want a credit with SSD knows I don't ever want to do business with him again. But as I told them if my situation changed I would have returned in January 20-21 however he'll know that's [read more...]

😠 SSDNodes is a scam. Definitely not running on SSDs, or if they are they are so overcommited for resources that the I/O is horrible. An even bigger problem is they can't keep their hypervisors up. If you host with them you should expect frequent outages.

😠 They sell annual subscriptions for a reason. I never got a reminder email notifying me of the renewal. Didn't get an email receipt after the $200+ charge was done, either. Just found it in my account statement weeks later. Support pointed to TOS, claiming they technically didn't do anything wrong. The TOS threatens you'll get billed $150 for filing a chargeback against them. Magazine companies are more ethical than this.

😠 Terrible experience. They offer very little support for setup. One day they decided to just suspend the service pretending I was running software related to mining crypto, which is of course totally false. I tried to discuss with support, asking them to show me the logs of my VPS but they just refused and never resumed service.

😠 You’ve been warned here. They oversell like crazy and totally a marketing tactic. They are very very strict with usage so if your site has any spike at all, it will be suspended. They compare themselves with Vultr but their resources are not isolated at all and so don’t ever think you can use even half or quarter of the advertised resources!
