Vultr is a newer hosting company founded in 2014. They use an advanced cloud platform and put a lot of emphasis on reliability and performance. They are proud to announce that even if their hosting company has not been in the industry for that long, they already host over 23 million cloud servers and have customers from over 150 countries.
Vultr provides one-click apps and they offer the possibility to upload ISO or mount ISO. They are supporters of Linux, Windows and FreeBSD. They promise the latest Intel CPU, many OS combinations (CentOS, Debian, Windows, FreeBSD, Ubuntu), full root access, API, 100% SSD and root administrator access.

From the great variety of plans Vultr offers, their prices also vary, but overall, they are affordable for customers. Something that not all the hosting companies offer is that they offer hourly billing, and more than that, they do not only offer long-term contracts.

Vultr promises 100% uptime (100% SSD platform and 100% Intel CPU). This is a great uptime percentage when taking into consideration the fact that not many hosting companies offer this uptime (the standard is 99.9% uptime guarantee).
