π I have been with ServerPronto for 13 years. I initially went with them because the offered the lowest prices for dedicated hosting. They were ok at the start, and very responsive when they needed to be. But over the years issues keep piling up. It's like they are run by a bunch of un professional kids. Twice I've hard hardware issues where the server went down because of silly things on their side, like the network cable not sitting correctly in place! IKR! I'm writing a review because it's time for me to move on and try to find another solution. Why do I want to move. Well, if you have any code that might appear insecure, like a webform that allows anyone to use it, they will instantly disable the server with no warning what so ever. This happened again today, with a function I built to redirect users. It was hacked and used as a link to bad site. Site went down with no warning. I fixed the issue and let them know. I've been waiting for 4 hours waiting on them to restore the site. [read more...]

π Wonderful Hosting Platform and Service
Wonderful company, really goes a very reasonable length for their customers. Extremely consistent and stable server environments, and the best market prices. Thanks for the years of service.

π I've been using ServerPronto for more than 3 years and my experience has been excellent. Good customer service, affordable packages, good hosting security and more. I wouldn't change it for any other hosting provider.

Founded in 1999, ServerPronto is a long-standing U.S.-based hosting provider operating out of Miami, Florida. The company has built its reputation by offering a mix of affordability, high-performance hardware, and a wide range of hosting services tailored to both businesses and technical professionals. Over the years, it has evolved to offer both self-managed and fully managed hosting environments, with a commitment to reliability and flexible infrastructure.
Hosting Services Offered
ServerPronto provides a wide spectrum of hosting solutions suited for varying technical needs, including:
- Dedicated Servers
- Virtual Private Servers (VPS)
- Cloud Hosting
- Colocation Services
- DNS Hosting
Dedicated Servers
The dedicated server plans are designed for demanding workloads and come with both Linux and Windows OS options. Entry-level packages include 10TB of bandwidth and support configurations from Quad-Core to up to Dodeca-Core CPUs. All plans come with full root access, optional management services, and customizable hardware options including SSDs, RAID configurations, and gigabit uplinks.
VPS and Cloud Hosting
Their VPS solutions, also available for both Linux and Windows, run on high-speed 100 Mbps uplinks and promise flexibility and tight security. These servers are a strong fit for developers and small businesses looking for isolated environments without the cost of a full dedicated server.
The Cloud hosting portfolio includes traditional cloud servers, private VPS, Windows-based VPS, and geo-redundant cloud configurations. Built on Dell platforms with OpenStack and VMware integration, these services provide scalability, SSD performance, and redundancy. Customers can configure resources as needed and scale up or down in real time with no additional fees.
Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
ServerPronto also offers IaaS solutions tailored for those requiring raw computing power without shared environments. With dedicated hardware and private networking, these packages support high-traffic websites, applications with strict compliance needs, or custom enterprise deployments. All IaaS plans include at least one dedicated IP and 24/7 hardware replacement support.
Data Center and Network
ServerPronto operates its own Tier 1 data center in Miami, with SSAE 16 and PCI compliance. The facility is equipped with:
- Multiple fiber-optic ring connections to Tier 1 internet providers
- Redundant power systems, including diesel generators and UPS backups
- On-site carrier equipment and fault-tolerant Cisco core routers
- 10Gbps Ethernet to all distribution switches and client servers
The infrastructure supports exceptional uptime and global connectivity, appealing to organizations requiring stable, high-speed access across multiple regions.
Security and Compliance
Security is built into every layer of ServerProntoβs offering. Clients can benefit from a suite of protection measures including:
- McAfee server security
- SonicWall and Cisco firewall options
- Hardware RAID for data integrity
- R1Soft managed backup solutions
The data center is PCI and HIPAA compliant, making it suitable for financial, healthcare, and e-commerce clients with regulated data requirements.
Support and Customer Experience
Customers have access to 24/7 technical support through email, phone, live chat, and a ticketing system. ServerPronto also maintains a presence on social media channels like Twitter and Facebook. Support quality has been a selling point for the company, particularly after its shift in ownership in 2012, which reportedly brought a stronger customer-first approach.
Server setup assistance is included at no cost, and provisioning times average just a couple of hours. For businesses lacking internal IT teams, the availability of fully managed services is a welcome addition.
Pricing and Flexibility
One of ServerPronto's core selling points is its "Right Pricing" approach: delivering robust infrastructure and support without inflated costs. While their base prices are already competitive, the company also runs regular discounts of up to 50%.
Key pricing highlights include:
- Transparent month-to-month billing
- No long-term contracts
- 7-day money-back guarantee (dedicated servers)
- Free setup across most services
This cost structure is particularly appealing to startups and agile businesses needing flexibility without sacrificing performance or uptime.
Additional Features
ServerPronto also offers:
- Global CDN services, enhancing content delivery via strategically located data centers
- cPanel control panels for simplified server management
- A variety of optional upgrades including 15k SAS drives, 1Gbps ports, dedicated firewalls, and more
Their SSD Cloud Hosting allows for near-instant provisioning and effortless scaling, making it suitable for seasonal projects or growing applications that require variable resource allocation.
π― Conclusion
ServerPronto brings together affordable hosting, enterprise-level infrastructure, and customer-focused support under one roof. While the company does not offer shared hostingβwhich could be a drawback for beginnersβit makes up for this by delivering robust VPS, cloud, and dedicated server options ideal for professionals, developers, and businesses with growing needs. The absence of a more extensive refund policy beyond the 7-day window may concern risk-averse customers, but the company compensates through flexible billing, responsive support, and proven uptime. For those seeking a reliable and cost-effective provider with full infrastructure ownership, ServerPronto stands out as a practical and technically sound choice.

π We use ServerPronto to host backups for sites that we have hosted elsewhere and we've never had a problem. The servers are always accessible and the support we've received the few times we needed it was quick and knowledgeable.

Since their restructuring of management in February 2012, things are running super smooth. My website and app server have been up and online since day 1. Their techs are really helpful and the solutions that they offered helped my business a lot (CDN, load balancing...)

π Warning, Never use this hosting company! This is a fraudulent company. They charge me again and again even after an account cancellation... after 1 year they still try to make payment to my old credit card and they nevey stop!! They try it everyday! So think about it! I prepaid 3 month and use the server 2 week after that i cannot use the server... lot of bug and the support was not free from the company. So i decided to cancel it but they dont and try to charge again an again. So NEVER give your credit card info to that fraud company! Believe me...

π Worst. Company. Ever! DO NOT give them your information!
I stopped doing business with them in 2004, paid in full. In 2006 they started harassing me about an unpaid invoice. It wasted a lot of my time and was very frustrating.
I just got another email from them threatening to report me to the credit reporting agencies because of an unpaid invoice! It's been 5 years!
I gave them zero on everything because no amount of features or control panel quality is worth doing business with a company like this!

π I've canceled my account with them at least one year before because they gave me a server preinstalled with irc bots. They wanted money for reinstall.
Anyway, now, after more then a year, I see my credit card has been charged 97$, a week ago. I've heard they just don't want to forget the credit card details of their ex-members, but stupid me I did believed it. Now I'm burned, tomorrow morning I'll run straight to the bank and cancel the CC.
Also, I entirelly agree with Clemente Zamora.
Save your money and stay away from serverpronto, they scam.

π ServerPronto hosting company is definitely NOT RECOMMENDED. Please stay away from them.
ServerPronto provides no technical support whatsoever, their "technical" staff knows nothing about computers, they are only qualified to reboot the machines (which you have to wait for them to do, there is no automatic reboot),
ServerPronto makes continuous billing mistakes (always to their advantage), and it takes months for them to fix them (if they ever do),
ServerPronto takes down your servers for any reason and without warning,
And more important, ServerPronto will try to steal your money from you with bogus invoices after you have settled down with them so it's a pain for you to move to another host.
They also insist on a lot of paperwork for cancelation which is only intended to allow them to keep billing you and bugging you forever.
It looks like a nightmare, but it's real. You can read all the details, with the actual tickets I suffered while hosting with them, here: [read more...]

π WHAT EVER YOU DO NEVER HAND YOUR CREDIT CARD DETAILS TO SERVER PRONTO.
They will never stop charging your credit card even though you cancel the service. They will say they never received your cancellation letter, they can't find the faxes you send to them. They would never agree to cancel even the server have not been used for months, you will have to have your credit card company involved and they will use any trick in the book, in the crooks book, to hold on to their money.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

π I have'nt actually subscribed to a hosted server or VPS from Serverpronto but I have suscribed to mpronto (hosted exchange) which is infolink too. Its exactly the same people who manage support in serverpronto.
firstly I would like to say that I am no longer a subscribor but unfortunately I can't cause these guys keep billing me for my hosted exchange account. Not only this the billing amount is going up increments of n+1 i.e. my subsciption goes up by last months plus this month fee. I've called them numerous time (plus tickets opened) and rude is one word i would use. The girl in support basically told me that their system didn't show over billing therefore I was lying. Even though I had my credit card statements in front of me she still said that they were'nt over billing. She was pretty dumb I have to say (I wouldn't normally make that statement about any one without strong reason)

π These guys do great on the price... not so much with the customer service. Staff can be rude and unresponsive and their support website is problematic. If you want cheap hosting... your good to go... if you want a "managed" solution... better bring the management. Satisfaction is the customers responsibility here.
BTW... Cancelation IS a joke... I'm going to try to call up my credit card agency and tell them I do NOT authorize any further charges to the card. I figure after they figure out that they aren't getting paid anymore they will cut off the servers... sucks to be them.

Phil (contact@t...)
π Reliable and responsive to support requests, in my experience, but nearly impossible to leave. I've been trying to get them to stop billing for some time now, but they insist on a detailed form, photo ID, copy of credit card, and will require you to do it all over if you make a mistake. The address of their cancellation form is incorrect, so even if you get everything right, it will come back to you unopened. What a racket.
π
Chris (cemdev@g...)
π Yes, they are cheap, but it's just not worth it.
Support is only there when they feel like it. My dedicated server was slower than my $5 a month shared hosting plan with another company.
The cancellation procedure is ridiculous. So much hassle - it looks like I'm going to have to cancel my credit card to get them to stop billing.
Horrible, avoid at all costs.

π Wow this server pronto place blows chunks!
I agree with most of the reviews here server pronto sucks BAD!
At first it seems good until you see that yes thier server uptimes may be good, but they are slower than my 9 and 10 ywear old kids computers. And thier internet conenction is slow or saturated or something.
Then when you try to cancel they demand a 30 day written notice and on a form which asks more informatuion than they asked when you signed up.
And if you dont renew they charge a $300 non payment fee for not renewing.
Forget trying to email them it has taken me 6 weeks to get a response.
And I only got a response after I started forwarding thier lame 15 emails a week back to them for a few weeks.
Email them 30 times and they may respond. This place is by far the worst place I have ever hosted anything in 15 years.
If it was free, It would be ok but this crappy place isn't worht paying $30 a month for.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

π Serverpronto is a very realiable company. I've hosted my websites for many years now and they key is the staff. There is one person that really helped me out when i ran into troubles for being editing files that i shoulnt have. To make sure you get a real good service, i recommend you to add the code PAJS01 into the comments box on the orders sheet.
This person will setup your server at a good timeframe and will provide you with support 24/7.
This is a good choice to host your website.
Princing and service is the most important when it comes to webhosting or just by having a server for any use.

π Okay, so I bought a dedicated server from serverpronto becasue they seemed so cheap...but I guess the price reflected the package I got.
When I signed up I was told it would be 24 hours for my account to be active...so 24 hours when my account was not active, I opened up a support ticket saying my account was not active. One day after, I received a reply (yes, a whole day), saying they were sorry, and it should be processed soon. Anyway, the following evening my account was finally active, which in total took 3 days.
So, I follow the instructions on my email to log into the contol panel, and it said username and password not accepted! So, again, I opened up a support ticket, and told them my problem. For the second time, I had to wait a whole day for my reply, when they explained that there was a problem with the username and password I had assigned, and they had reset it. No appology or anything from them.
Wow, 4 days later and I was able to login to my account. It was quite [read more...]

π I am a UNIX sysadmin , (for 11 years) , and know what I am doing also to create a stable working web serving enviroment .
OK , well , I thought their Cheap , however they explain this is due to economies of scale .. Well , dont believe it They lie! .. heres what they do ..
They supply you unstable hardware (which locks up / reboots itself at least 3 - 4 times per month) ,, they then take upto 36 hours to reboot a server that has locked up .... Then they charge yo $29 for the privelage of getting the reboot (yes per reboot) .
Also , if you wish to contact them about any issue , dont bother trying to call them.... They have an answering service on the west cost , that forward 'messages' to them in Florida .. So , you use the helpdesk system , however , if you raise more than three tickets per month , then you get slammed with $15 per ticket (remember you cant call them , and you may be wanting to inform them of some severe network outages , etc ... it costs you ! )

π I rented a server from ServerPronto to run a LAMP server for my forums sites and I had noting but unreliable service and support. I have been working 15 years as a UNIX administrator and I know how to run a reliable server.
It started with emails from my server bouncing back because ServerPronto IPs were on many BAN lists due to them allowing their servers to be used by spammers.
The first sever they provided me with would often reboot itself or just crash. When ever I submitted a ticket to get the server restarted, it would often take up to 12 hours before being actioned.
I asked to be provided with another server due to the current one having serve problems, but they still charged me for the change.
And the new server has rebooted itself once and it has now crashed again. It's been 6 hours since I submitted a ticket to get it restarted and I am still waiting.
I've had enough and I will be looking for a new sever provider.
