😠 Very deceptive in how they sell their products. When I called to renew my Hosting Package, the Sales Rep lied and told me he was setting up the renewal, when he was instead charging me for a brand-new package (that I didn't need), so I ended up having to purchase a second package for more money to get the renewal. When I tried to get a refund for the duplicated services that I didn't need, my appeal was denied, and the 'manager' denied the request for refund. These people are terribly dishonest and will lie to you straight-faced to make a sale on product that you don't need. There are much better companies out there that charge a lot less. Network Solutions is horrible, dishonest company... shop around!!!

😠 I would rather have given a zero than a one. I have just tried to transfer a domain from networksolutions to another registrar. Because the domain hosted my primary email, I changed my email details to avoid problems with any transfer, and then proceeded to get an authorisation code for the transfer which they duly gave me. Having given me the authorisation code, they then told me that my account was locked for 60 days because I had changed my registratnt details. They could have given me the option to over-ride the 60 day lock (according to ICANN), but didn't. Result, despite complaining to networksolutions and ICANN, I have to wait 60 days because networksolutions use 'sharp' practice and ICANN cannot intervene. The real feedback, is don't use these sharks.
The best of it was, my domain was registered for the next two years, so they aren't even hanging on to the domain for financial gain. It's just them being petty and vindictive.

😠 I don't normally go out of my way to leave a review but this was the worst service. Definite scam. The "customer service" is appealing. To delete my inactive account that had been stealing money from my account I had to call a number they gave me that DOES NOT WORK, it sent me to a dentist office. Ignored my questions on what i'm actually being charged for and would not offer refund. Use any service but this it's a total waste of money and time.

😠 Networksolutions is so poor. About zero customer support but extraordinary high fees. Totally ridicilous. They charge about 3 - 5 times what other regsitrars take while their support is basically none existent. They are only good in making up funny fees and keeping you at long by not responding to inquiries. Avoid by any means

😠 Worst company I have EVER dealt with AVOID at all costs
I was suckered in to signing up for a .com with Netsol with a cheap introductory deal and over the years the prices are going up and up. Moving my domain from these incompetent idiots is the last thing I would think of doing due to my experience of their utter lack of technical ability.

My domain expired. I was not informed it was due for renewal. I logged on to the site and made a payment for 5 years via their website to get my domain back up and running. I am charged a "reinstatement fee" as a penalty for not being informed of the renewal. I am losing email and business at this point, so I have no choice. After making the payment I receive NO notification that the transaction was successful.

I call them. I am told that my online transaction failed and I HAVE to pay via credit card. No apologies. I get my card out and pay for another 5 years and again.. a reinstatement fee, my penalty for signing up with this people.

😠 Customer service is horrible. Their telephone system is horrendous.
A person will spend precious time going through the various prompts to reach a customer service representative who ultimately will not be able to assist. Their is a glitch within their system that is taking down my website. The page will not be found for another 24 hours. This is horrible. This is the second time within a few weeks. As soon as I resolve this dilemma I am leaving Network Solution. I have been a loyal client for 5 years and I can't be that anymore.

😠 Run as fast & as far away as you can from Network Solutions. we had our domain registered with them for many yrs.. Decided to give them a try at hosting, lost 30% of my annual fee after trying to get away from them in under 30 days. Terrible Customer Service, no technical support to keep up with all the sales. A big company does not always mean a good company. Now, we are stuck 'trying' to transfer our domain name to new host and do not truly expect it to actually happen. Will have to change our domain name along with all of our company printings containing our old domain name, now that is truly where our expense lies. Just run away at the mention of "Network Solutions". It is too late for us!

😠 "Network Solutions let me down in many ways. Their customer, David, was my life partner who passed July of last year. When I called Network Solutions soon after David's passing to notify them and ask what I need to do as his representative and executor, they failed. They failed to send me an important form, to transfer authority of the account and they failed to verify their email notices would get to the right inbox. This mistake led to David's inbox continuing to get notices, including the one saying it was up for renewal. Being six months after his death I had stopped checking David's inbox. A month later, I learned the site was down and so I called in - (the sales from the site were my main livelihood). This was the first time they told me about the form and set me a copy to fill out. In that call I found out that the site was completely gone, deleted, and while we talked I continually noticed the way the rep talked to me... it was extremely insensitive to my situation. 😠 Within last 3 weeks our access codes have been re-set 11 (!!!) times for "security reasons".
I guess we ought to be grateful and feel incredibly secure, however the price we have paid for this has become unbearable. Due to not being able to deliver files to a client by the deadline, we lost a project and consequently that particular client.

We feel increasingly frustrated and feel embarrassed for having to apologize to our clients for their repeatedly denied access. The unreliable service makes doing our job impossible.

We receive no less thank 4 marketing emails from NS per week, yet we have not once been notified of an interruption of service. NOT ONCE!

Since NS outsourced the CS and TS call center to Philippines the customer service and technical support are now unbearable due to cultural (+other) differences. 70% of the call time is spent listening the representative robotically apologizing in every sentence and repeating the same sentence over and over again. 😠 Tech Service is completely useless. Were unable or could'nt be bothered to fix problem with FedEx rates. They constantly closed Help Tickets as resolved when the problem had not been fixed. Presently still not fixed so am paying for something that does not work. I highly suggest not selecting Network Solutions for web hosting.
Once again I stress, do not use Network Solutions. It will be a pain for you if you run into problems.

😠 Tech support regularly lies to me. Have had numerous problems with the webmail client, where I delete one message and it also deletes the message before and/or after it. They "reindex" my mailbox and tell me it's fixed, but it happens again. Stalled my domain transfer, and deleted my nameserver info so that my website is down during the transfer. Then they say nothing can be done about it. Frustrating beyond description. Horrible business practices, and lousy customer support. Avoid Network Solutions like the plague if you know what's good for you.

😠 I recently signed up for a website hosting package with NetworkSolutions. Starting off, I could not log into my account as they had already locked it, due to it being "comprimised" Even though i had only signed up ~15 minutes ago. It took me an hour of phone calls to get it back. The first time the website builder loaded it became nonresponsive and i had to CTRL-ALT-DEL close it. The second time it did better and opened properly. However after finishing a page, I tried to begin a second. Not only did that bring an error, i also lost all progress on my first page. I had to start from scratch. The process was repeated three days later and i ended up having too delete cookies and temp files to get it to run. All throughout building the site i probably loaded it 10 times a session, due to it becoming unresponsive or erroring. Finally, after slogging to the finish, I published the website only to find all the pictures and half the content disappear, and to this day i cannot fix it. [read more...]

😠 NS used to be a great company but they have gone downhill over the past few years ... to the point where we were forced to use another, more reliable, company to host our business site but we have been using them for email service. 2 or 3 years ago, they "upgraded" thier mail servers and were down for a couple of days and had high latency (slow or non existant) email service for about a week after. Lot of glitches since but our upper management wanted to stay with them for some reason. Now, NS is doing "more maintanence" on the servers and we have been having serious issues again with the email for the past few days to the point where we can't even receive mail now. Of course, when you call customer disservice, you usually get someone in an outsourced call center and cannot do anything except read a script. If you try to talk to an engineer, you can't. The rep can only escallate the issue and either the case will get fixed or closed, whether it's fixed or not necessitating [read more...]

😠 STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS.

First, their tech support is nonexistent. The call center staff openly admit to not knowing how to fix any problem. They only act as liasons to forward your problem to "engineering", whom you CAN NOT talk to directly. It takes 48 hours for a message to get from the call center to engineering. Getting anything resolved this way is practically impossible.

Then, you try to cancel. They stall and delay every way imaginable. You have to keep calling back and going through the call center/engineering cycle, begging them to remove each of the obstacles they have placed in the way of your cancellation. Each iteration takes 2 days.

And here is the best part... if your Network Solutions contract expires during this time, they make you renew it before they'll let you cancel.

😁 We have had a Network Solutions e-commerce Pro store/nsCommerce Space Premium for nearly 2 years and are extremely happy with the site and customer service. Our site looks professional, it ranks high on Google & Bing, sales are excellent and it is easy to use.

We were looking for a turnkey ecommerce package that showcased our products and allowed us to spend our time selling rather than programming. The $99 per month fee is all we pay, never a fee to any consultants, programmers, designers, extra bandwidth, commissions, etc. NetSol's team of programmers are constantly updating the site for us - no need for us to worry about that side of the business. They integrate everything for us - shipping, sales tax, PayPal/Google Checkout/merchant accounts.

This is not our first web site. We had another successful web site for 7 years and they went out of business. Part of the reason we chose Network Solutions is that they are a strong company that has been in business for 25 [read more...]

Terrible customer service !!
Fraudulent and dishonest company!
I had my account for 15 minutes, called customer service with a question (which they could not/would not answer, unless I gave them more money for web hosting). Then they refused to issue a refund!
I had to notify my bank, among others, of this corrupt company that I believe is located somewhere in China.
STAY AWAY FROM NETWORK SOLUTIONS !!!!

😃 It's being almost 1 year I have my personal website with Network solutions. As a beginner I had some problems and all they were my fault, but whenever I e-mailed or called the company, everytime I got support from them.
I have the the standard webhosting package...
I have to accept that my site is a personel website and it is not active like a bussiness website.
I have to say most webhosting sites gives unlimited space and bandwith which is not a problem for me .......This must be changed not to loose customers....
By the way... I'm happy with them....

😠 These guys are unbelievable! My responses had slowed to nil but when I checked the site I got an http 403 forbidden prompt.... no wonder no responses. Called and spoke with a nice lady with an accent who informed me that the web page was gone! Where, When, Why??? She couldn't answer but would forward complaint to engineers (she couldn't transfer me to engineers) This was a labor intensive build with long copy, illustrations photos, prices etc. I'm a one man sideline shop with very little web page experience and don't have a copy of this page (my bad)..... While waiting to hear back from engineers, I called customer service (_________________ - fill in your own description here) and was informed by 'Nick' that Network Solutions has 'packages only' I, obviously mistakenly assumed that this company would keep my site in a nice safe little cubby hole somewhere and when John Q. A technical problem with their Perl setup and they tell me it will be up to THREE DAYS to get someone competent to look at it. 😠 The worst company I have ever dealt with...period. Using shared hosting package, the smallest problem takes 3-5 days to settle even while your ecommerce site is down or non functional. They seem to have more down time than any i have experienced. You can never talk to an engineer and they act like Nazis...They know they have vital control over your life and seem to enjoy doing exactly the wrong things and as slow as possible without losing you. but they are losing me for sure. 😠 Network solutions is by far the worst webhosting company I have ever dealt with. I currently use multiple hosts including Godaddy, Netfirms, Dreamhost, vistapages, rogers and yahoo but Network Solutions is BY FAR THE WORST, hands down! To do something as simple as changing our address it took Network Solutions over a month to get it right. We sent them so many scanned documents I think they could easily put together a roadmap of the past 5 years of our lives. Absolute idiots!

1. Their customer service sucks. They turn off the phones when a server crashes..lol.. who does this!

2. Their servers constantly crash, even with dedicated hosting. (we don't look for 100% uptime but we so expect downtime to be reasonable)

3. Changing company information is a horrible experience. The control panel is useless.

4. They are more expensive and harder to deal with than any other provider we have experience with. Rogers is by far the best, VistaPages and Yahoo are a close second. [read more...]

😠 Network Solutions has the worst customer service. I switched from an e-commerce package to a hosting package and they still kept charging me for the e-commerce package. I repeatedly called to let them know they were still charging me. Every time I called they told me the billing dept would email me, because they only communicate through email. Never did I receive an email. 5 months later i finally get it canceled but, they will not credit my credit card because they show no record of my several calls. I will never deal with them again. I am currently looking for a new host.

😠 I have never seen such a shameless support, actually where is the support?I continued my company account with them for 2 years, and whenever I required help, no one was there to support.
More stupid thing, there is a Technical Support link on their site, I filled-up the whole story in that and finally I was responded that I was supposed to submit the issue in their Express Service Request link and not in Technical support. OK I did that too, again I got a auto response, saying your problem cannot be resolved until you call us. Frustrated but I still called them. A lot of hold-times, and transfering call, finally the so-called support person said that I have noted down your issue and I will pass it to teh technical team. I got really frustrated with this type of support. And the worst part is that even then it took more than 10 days to resolve the minor issue.

I am verry DISSAPOINTED of them, they are not professional.
First: I payed for private registration of my domain and my name appears public on "whois database". I had to transfer the domain to goddady for a really private registration.
Few days ago they suspended my website without inform me. One day after this I recived an automated e-mail response. I really don t understant why they suspended my website.
I am still looking for a company host my website.

I advise all of you not work with them. You will lose your money
