Founded in 1993, initially with the name of Libertas BBS, the company started its activities as a branch of the BBS of the same name located in Ipatinga, MG.After a year, following the new market trends, Minas OnLine BBS was born. The main objective of the separation of the companies was the need for more qualified, personal service and, above all, available to the customer.
In 1996, when Brazilians had access to the internet, the domain minas.com.br was registered and Minas OnLine BBS started selling e-mail accounts. At that time, email was still not sent in real time. The messages were stored on our server for a few hours, until the next connection to send and receive them.
In 1997, the BBS service was deactivated due to the universalization of internet access. Once again, following the market trend, Minas OnLine started selling hosting plans, using a reseller plan contracted in São Paulo. Unfortunately, we started to face growth difficulties due to failures in the provision of services by the supplier. We spent hours without connection, contact and clarification about what had happened.
In 1999, after a long period of unavailability, we were, together with several other customers of the São Paulo company, without any contact or information.
