Founded in 2011, GCore (previously G-CoreLABS) is a hosting provider claiming to help extend and improve online website platforms for reasonable prices. Their website is available in English, Russian and German.

They have over 5000 peering partners and their servers run on 10+ Tbps network. Ever since their launch on the market, the company has kept on growing and in 2020, they pride in over 60 CDN PoPs and more than 25 data centers all around the globe.

The company provides the following web hosting solutions:

Virtual private servers are KVM-configured and run on high speed SSD drives. They guarantee high speed optimization with 200 Mbit/s traffic with no restrictions. Servers support any OS (Linux/Windows) and they are protected against DDoS attacks.

Dedicated servers are instantly set up and you can choose between pre-configured servers or the possibility to customize your own. When choosing to build your own server, you get to choose the server location, processor, RAM memory, disk space (available on SSD or SATA infrastructure) and RAID (software / hardware).

Prices at G-CoreLABS are pretty expensive in comparison to other web hosts. Fees can get a little pricey no matter if you choose to purchase a pre-configured server or choose to build your own from the beginning. They accept payments in US Dollars, Euros.

However, they do not seem to mention a precise money-back guarantee so customers might hesitate on making purchases for fear they might lose their money.

The prices they offer for packages are quite accessible and fair. There was some confusion with my account settings and technical support did everything in their power to help me in that situation. 😁 Simply put, I develop websites for businesses. After the project handover I provide the support, so I search high and low for servers with good fault tolerance, fast access and swift technical support which can be a difficult task. We found all of these aspects in G Core. During our period of usage, problems arose only a few times but were remedied in a timely and courteous manner by what I will call a first-rate tech support. I don’t say “best” in this business often but I am more than glad to say that my experience using G-core hosting has been just that, “the best” that I have used in recent memory.

😁 I am currently running my websites through a dedicated server and am absolutely satisfied.
The custom control panel is intuitive and stress free. Even a user with limited knowledge of the software (like me) can figure it out. The speed is always steady and strong and doesn’t crash during periods of high traffic. There are multiple price points with plans to suit your priorities and resources. Happy I came across them!

😁 In general, this is a cool hosting, that has many advantages. I used it for 2 years and recently raised the pricing plan, cause I’m expanding the number of projects. Data centers are located in all regions, and provides the high speed of servers. Good network coverage as well as excellent tech support, whitch answers almost immediately. I have no desire to change the provider.

😁 I like their customer management
G-core is very different from other hosting companies. Earlier I came across oversellers and scammers. They intentionally slow down the speed of websites in order to get more money from the client. In this case, I pay only $ 5 per month, while I get a speed of 200 mb/sec, unlimited traffic and fast SSD. Support is very competent and knowledgeable, you can count on it.

Favorable shared hosting except that SSL was not added to the standard package. Many hosting companies include SSL by default. Registration was quick, without any difficulty. I really liked the dashboard and the way, how the support communicates with users. Uptime seems to be maximal and I am very pleased with this.

1. ease of use, nowhere else superfluous, you don’t accidentally click anywhere, intuitively.
2. Sites are always available, they slowed down a couple of times and slowly loaded, but support quickly fixed the problem.
3. Friendly support, often help and advise not only on hosting issues.

😁 I am very glad that I rent hosting in G Core. The projects grew and the task appeared to find the hosting that is optimal in price and quality. I compared the reviews, analyzed the work \ convenience and settled on the G Core, as it turned out it was the best choice. Stable and high uptime (infrequent technical work is carried out at night and is absolutely invisible), convenient administration panel (it was like a breath of fresh air after the previous host), quick work (sites really fly), nice prices - all this continues to please me now more than 2 years.
I would also like to mention technical support, during the use of the hosting there were different situations, but each time the guys from G Core quickly resolved all the nuances, for which I thank them separately.

😁 I have a project with an attendance of about 400,000 per month. (per day it is about 15-22 thousand), CMS is heavy, on the disk it takes 15Gb.
Hosting gives processor power as stated in the configuration.

A short response time when opening pages (less than 200ms), apparently initially configured for maximum performance.
I am very glad that I chose this hosting, the power suits me. Support response is very quickly, they answered and decided a problem within 12 minutes (there was a question about the OS patch).

😃 I have been a client of this hosting since 2017, the guys do not give up and in every possible way upgrade both the hardware itself and add new functions. Hosting allows me to keep a decent load even on highly visited sites. Over 3 years of cooperation, and all good impressions. I used support a couple of times in a few years, and this was not due to problems on the site.

- the best support for all the time of all the services that I used! 24/7 and always essentially without stupid and long questions, they answer sooo quickly.
- convenient control panel,
- everything is quick and easy to set up

Cons
- for all the time there was only one big problem, a database server laydown and it was a large project, the problem was solved within 4-5 hours

😁 1,5 года пользуюсь выделенный сервером, разместил 4 своих сайта. Аптаймы высокие, иногда падает скорость, но не критично. Продуманный интерфейс и нет ничего лишнего, в принципе даже с нуля можно разобраться. Техподы оперативно отвечают, минут за 10 в среднем. Буду продолжать пользоваться, надеюсь на такой же уровень сервиса.

😃 Подобрал VPS-сервер у этого хостера. Изначально были сомнения, так как раньше о нем не слышал, но по итогу выбрал из-за удобной геолокации дата-центра и адекватных цен. На данный момент пользуюсь уже почти полгода, нареканий никаких, от слова «совсем». Скорость близка к максимальной, тестирую регулярно. У предыдущего хостера была такая проблема, что производительность падает и тебя «подталкивают» на более дорогой тариф.

😁 Прошлой зимой купил два дедика в штатах. Штош, есть и плюсы и минусы, но по сравнению с плюсами минусы меркнут! Да, был инцидент с ддосом сервака, но тут я сам виноват, знал что на меня периодически идут атаки, но не предпринял ничего заранее. Выбрал бы тариф выше ничего бы не было. Защита стоит своих денег, после того случая я ее включил и не нарадуюсь. Железо нравится, цены на уровне. В супорте работают зайчики, отвечают круглосуточно на любой заковыристый вопрос. Это ли не сказка

😠 Знаком с хостингом уже пару лет. На Дальнем Востоке нет других ДЦ, чтобы с кем-то им тут конкурировать.
Видимо из-за этого у них наплевательское отношение к клиентам.
Аптайм за месяц ниже 50%, всё из-за ддос атак на которые они забивают. Если на вас будет какая либо атака, вас заблокируют на 12 часов (отличная помощь дудосерам, не правдо ли? :) ) А хостингу всё равно. Извините, но ничем вам помочь не можем, может предложить вам защиту от ддоса 800 евро + (откуда такие расценки то?) Их главная проблема в этом блоке, ни у кого его не встречал, но у них такая система процветает, деньги не возвращают, а по факту сервер 24/7 не работает.
Так же они темнят с тарифами. Если вы перешли на тариф повыше, то сменить тариф обратно уже не получится)) Вот такая вот политика у них.
Можно тариф менять только вверх, но не в ущерб им..
Тех поддержка отвечает быстро, но смысла от них нет. Любые проблемы с сервером их не касаются с их же слов.
Желаю вам, чтобы вы и дальше гнобили своих клиентов [read more...]
