😠 Not a good company to do business with. Poor, even aggressive, support and the model has changed to obfuscate fees and renewals. I've persisted far too long and lost money and time to this company. After two decades I'm moving all my domains (20 plus) and email services etc to a new provider. The cost and hassle of doing this will be readily made up for not having to deal with Easyspace any more

😠 Keep away from this company.It has a lousy customer service. The Control Panel is so difficult to use. The staff are so unhelpful, they even block accounts and emails. Being so many years with them has been a real struggle, the emails dont work for the staff and have to use hotmail accounts. Complete watse of time and money.

I asked for the extra money I had paid them to be returned and they refused point blank. I said I would take it further and they suspended all my sites ans all my email accounts without notice. My business went into freefall. Every time I called to complain they hung up on me. These people are crooks and since they are based in scotland you cannot take them to the small claims court

😠 took money without permission
Ok with domain for new start up company - web hosting unsatisfactory but I was ok wiht that . What was utterly unfair is that they claimed a second year contract and charged way more like 200 euors plus for something I do not use. They replied to none of my emails but use my original credit card details to take the money [import from switchmedia.co.uk]

😠 Very sneaky and dishonest company that relies on it's T&C to scam people out of money. Read them very carefully, because they don't like to tell you important information, example when you sign up it is a 2 year contract, after your initial payment of £5 you must them pay £118+ every year until you cancel (once the minimum 2 year term is up you must manually cancel and it is made difficult to do so in order to discourage it). They don't like to refund even though you are paying in advance so technically you haven't even used the service, and the customer is very poor, almost robotic. All they could tell me was "read the T&C" and "we will take you to court if you don't pay or charge back the money". Shameful [import from switchmedia.co.uk]

Started out OK with these guys, until the down time started out. They really do use every excuse in the book. Completely full of shit. The guy who started the company and built their good name is gone now, and has hit own company. globalgold.co.uk was taken over by iomart, and they have ruined the entire setup with crap support, and really poor uptime.... keep away, and don't let the cheap price tempt you. 😠 Noticeable decline since the move
Globalgold of Harlow were great until they sold out/moved to Glasgow. After sales service is a joke, emails go unanswered and telephone conversations are hard work. My forums have been off line twice in under 10 days. Half of Globalgolds own website have dead links. I am actively looking to move my business away. Not impressed and no I would not recommend them. Their customer service is now a joke. I always wanted to use a UK based hosting company because it puts the money back into the UK, now as I have already said, I am looking elsewhere. 😉 service quality failing after company takeover
There was a time not so long ago when you could email Globalgold and get a sensible reply and good help when needed. Since GlobalGold has been taken over we have had at least 2 instances of downtime with no notice. When I called their support number the call centre that responded was almost unintelligible. I had to scream and shout to get a domain renewed even though it was ordered via their own system and now all our sites are down and they no longer accept emails to their support address. The online system automatically recycles you so you don't get to submit a message so we seem to be heading toward the pits of customer service instead of the paragon that USED to be GlobalGold. The recent so-called improvements they have promoted are not reflected in the customer service standard. Time to look around for a better supplier. A pity because the plans they have offered have been good - but now something seems to be going badly wrong. [import from globalgold.co.uk]
