😠 I administer websites that have been unfortunately shipped over to easyhosting because the local ISPs don't want to deal with hosting any more. Hosting from an ISP is a perk of yesteryear....
Their technical support is non existing, trying to get a company back online after migration from EXOP to EXO and they won't answer any questions. Need to change DNS records ASAP... they don't seem to understand that a entire business' communication system relies on DNS. It's not just for websites.

😠 Worst hosting company. I've been working in the web for 16 years and Easy Hosting gives no help, no support, is no help when there's a problem, impossible to reach by phone and respond with a generic message to email questions. Worst worst ever.

😠 knowing that there are three different companies with same name is a bit confusing. My experience in Canada was not pleasant.

No one in the tech or web building stations would take responsibility,
and it ended up copy and past to retrieve my photos.
In full it was 5 HOURS for just THAT day,

😠 Awful. Following a server migration to Easyhosting, my email password no longer works. After hours of chatting, Easyhosting is unable to help me with a simple password reset. Twelve days ago, they promised a callback within 48 hours. I have been without my primary email for two weeks.

I was hired by my client to simply remove the domain and move it to another registrar. The client had issues with the hosting, so stopped the hosting but still had a domain with easyhosting. They tried to move it prior and they were sent to easyhosting support, which is really bad. They transfer you from department to department, which takes days because they don't respond in a timely manner, just to get things done.
So my clients tried to transfer the domain out of there on their own, and they couldn't do it.
I've transferred hundreds of domains and I know exactly how it works, but easyhosting does it differently in order to trap people in to sales.
Most people don't renew their domain when they go to renew, until the last month of their registration. My client couldn't transfer her domain in 1 month, so they had to keep renewing it until they hired me.
I had a 6 month window to figure it out, and it took over a month to transfer 1 simple domain. They wouldn't [read more...]

Unquestionably the worst company I have ever dealt with. Their support people do not care about your problems and many of communications went unanswered. This company should be ashamed of themselves for taking "non refundable" membership fees and providing shameful tech and customer support. They simply do not care.

Terrible service. Impossible to renew domain names online using control panel. E-mailIng customer service just gets a reply saying I need to phone them. You receive an email when you need to renew your domain name or whatever package you have with them and they don’t bother to tell you the price. The last time I had to renew my domain name the online portal wouldn’t work so I had to call them anyway.

I have had a small website with Webcenter for many years with very little problems.
When it was changed to Easyhosting, I have had nothing but one problem after another. Now I cannot get into Site Builder to change anything in my Website.
Their so called "Technical Support", to put it mildly, is absolutely disgusting!!!
After many phone calls and emails to technical support, I finally was told that the "Site Builder feature was no longer part of my plan". I could of course update my plan to include the Site Builder feature FOR MORE MONEY!!! I don't be thinking so.

I have had a small website with Webcenter for many years with very little problems.
When it was changed to Easyhosting, I have had nothing but one problem after another. Now I cannot get into Site Builder to change anything in my Website.
Their so called "Technical Support", to put it mildly, is absolutely disgusting!!!
After many phone calls and emails to technical support, I finally was told that the "Site Builder feature was no longer part of my plan". I could of course update my plan to include the Site Builder feature FOR MORE MONEY!!! I don't be thinking so.
My last words to Easyhosting??? You are despicable

😠 something changed, tech support big fail now
Used to be good. Used easyhosting over 10+ years for business web hosting. Accounting was always annoying but I let it slide. But tech support was fine and could talk to a person. Now their phone support (not sure when it changed) must be outsourced overseas and they just take notes (but you think you're talking to tech support) and then you just get an email reply from somebody else that is very rigid and not clear and does not solve the problem and nobody will call back and talk in person. I will be cancelling my service. Can't run a business like this. Very disappointed.

I didn't know this until a friend wrote me on another account. I have no idea how much business I lost. Bottom line, Easyhosting doesn't bother telling its customers when their accounts are full and writers to the account will get a bounce back. Expensive and definitely not worth the money.

😠 I'm a web developer and recently I got a small project migrating from PHP 5.6 to 7 for a website that's been hosted with Easyhosting for over 5 years. Because the website broke down after it was upgraded to PHP 7, the host switched it to PHP 5.6 temporarily. When I finished updating the code we asked them to switch back to PHP 7. Oh my, that was only the beginning of problems. Immediately phpMyAdmin became inaccessible. The support asked us to REINSTALL phpMyAdmin which is ridiculous, it's not a VPS plan but a hosting shared with 11K (!!!) other websites on the same server. Eventually phpMyAdmin was fixed. I coded a form that sends an email and makes database calls. The mail server keeps breaking down and the worst part is that the mail server will respond to you saying that email was sent but it DOES NOT actually send it. And on top of that all of a sudden the server stopped accepting POST requests - keeps responding with 500 Internal server error. I have never had problems like [read more...]

😠 easyhosting kept on billing my credit card after service stopped 7 years ago!
The hosting was more expensive than others, the features were mediocre. Very dishonest business practice. I moved my site to other service provider 7 years ago, but they kept on billing my credit card every year. I called their 1-800 number many times. They just sent me on a wild goose chase. So I change my credit card number thought that will put a stop on it. No, the bill came through again this year!

EasyHosting let my blank records forwarding stop (so you had to write a full www. before domain or else it would give a 'forbidden error') and were unable to fix it for almost 3 weeks. At one point they let my entire website go down including incoming email. They spent the whole time trying to blame someone else wasting hours and hours of my life. I switched companies and instantly solved. Should have done it right away. Take your business somewhere else.

Customer service is appalling. Billing put me on the wrong plan and as a result my website went down. They transferred me back and forth for over an hour and then told me it would take 48 hours to get my site back up. I have taken my business elsewhere. The worst experience EVER!!

😠 Bad billing service
Easyhosting.com provides a bad billing service. They continued charging my credit card for services that they did not provide such as domain name and pointing services after the domain names were transferred out a year ago. Every domain name has a different password and you can not find out the list of domain names and services you have with them. Every time I ask to stop charging my credit card for service they didn't provide they ask my password. Tried to explain them that there is no need for a password if I don't have a service with them. Really bad and unpleasant service.

😠 Billing department suspended our site while we ran a promotion
I find tech support pretty good. Billing is impossible. case in point, we have just sent out thousands of postcards promoting our service and pointing to our website. Yesterday (Saturday), I see that our site is down. I call easyhosting tech department who tells me billing suspended our site and they are now close for the day - he can't do anything. Tells me to call back tomorrow. I call back the next day - no answer from billing. I talk to another tech guys who says billing should be in. Nothing. I call back talk to another tech guy who puts me on hold, checks and says that billing is closed on Sunday. SO, now our site is down for 2 days at a point when we've just spend thousands of dollars promoting our service and directing people to go to our site - which is down Access Forbidden! Oh, did I mention that I switched to auto payment by credit card last month to avoid this kind of thing (we've had issues with our other sites hosted by EasyHosting being suspended)? Billing system sucks. No invoices ever issued. Worst ever to communicate.
Continuously putting the long-term customer in Suspend, w/o trying to resolve poor invoicing system- which doesn't exist. Money are collected w/o ever issuing any invoices making impossible for business to keep control of.

😠 The hosting company of the dark ages
I've been with Easy Hosting for about 4 years and they were great at the beginning. I'm not sure what happened, but over the last few years, it's become an embarrassment.
They haven't continued to evolve and offer the exact same services as they did years ago. Considering how little they offer, their prices are OUTRAGEOUS!
Technical support is always polite, but has very little knowledge on how to actually resolve complex issues. It's almost as if they're reading off a manual.

Easyhosting's web-based invoicing is corrupted. We received two email invoices for April 2011, three for July 2011, and four for January 2012. They repeatedly sent us notices of suspension of our account when we were up to date in our payments. We sorted things out with them, we thought, in June, and paid our June invoice. They agreed to send us future invoices by mail. No further invoices have been sent. However, today, they de-listed our account without further notice. They tell me it will take 24-72 hours to put us back on. In the meantime, no-one can send us emails, we cannot send emails or scan documents to our emails, and our website is off-line. Our losses are mounting. As you can imagine, I am completely infuriated. No business should tolerate this irresponsible service.

😠 I've been with easyhosting for a long time now, it was ok when I started however in the past couple months it became the worst web hosting company! The tech support is the worst! They are very limited with their knowledge. They give me the same 2 solutions they read off of a manual with every problem I tell him. Ridiculous!! And when I'm uploading files it tells me that I have reached my space limit, when I can clearly see I used 5/20GB! WTF! Also when I call them about this they try to blame me about it! OMFG, UNBELIEVABLE!!

Once the files were up, whatever ridiculous caching mechanism they're using started slowly updating files over a period of about 1.5 hours. On a site with about 10 pages and 50-100 images.
And of course the site was throwing errors the entire time.
Just brutal, I'd be emberassed if I owned this company.

I have moved all my sites to a liable source and the service is great! Finally a real Hosting service.
I will be contacting all the clients that we have setup at easyhosting and move them to the same reliable source before they have the same problems. If you experience an influx of cancellations you will now know why.
