😠 Earthlink sucks in response time to repairs
I am extremely frustrated getting a technician to respond to our scanner issues. It takes hours to get a response - when you finally get someone they try to help but it rests squarely with the response time - or lack thereof - of their technicians. They are probably all overworked, underpaid and understaffed!

😞 got info from hi level tech about sending out email. told to follow up with apple. i did ...they said that the question i was asking about bulk addresses in bcc was earthlink's call. earthlink said no it is apples. so apple said okay if that is so, we are good with what you have done. then earthlink froze the message before it went out, stopped my earthlink useage and caused rupture on our dateline. It was not the first time Earthlink did not step up. On the phone for 20 minutes waiting for help....

😃 New email interface is poor
I have been with Earthlink for over 15 years starting with a basic email account. They have hosted my web pages for over 4 years. Overall, customer service and technical support have fully met my expectations. However, this year they "upgraded" their email interface. It is the poorest implementation I have ever used. Further it has bugs or design flaws that should never have passed a quality review. I have provided feedback and no corrections or updates have been made. I am surprised that an otherwise strong showing over the years has been flawed by this upgrade.

😠 I share my site with 1,000 other sites - for $20 a month. Bluehost or any other host will share with fewer sites - typically for $6 a month.

😠 Terrible service. Had to argue with them about the number of years I pre-paid in advance (which was for 5 years paid one year ago). Couldn't get anyone on the phone. They disabled my domain name without warning; I received no warning emails. All email replies to my inquiries stated that I must pay to renew -- without referring to the problem I was raising -- and that if I waited past a certain date, then the cost of renewal would increase to $99.99. I will never use them again and will make sure to steer friends and colleagues away from them.
