CIRA and SIDN to Build Joint Domain Name Registry Platform - The Registry of the Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA (cira.ca)) and the Registry of the Dutch Internet Registration Authority (SIDN (sidn.nl)), respectively the domain name registries of the Canadian.CA domain and the Dutch.NL domain, have established a cooperation to develop, market, and maintain the existing CIRA Registry Platform together.
The code base and intellectual property of the product, which is known internally at CIRA as Fury, are going to be transferred to a business that is domiciled in Canada and is jointly owned and controlled by its shareholders.
