😠 Terminated my hosting and deleted all data without a prior notice
I had a hosting account with alexhost.com

I renewed the service, but the renewal invoice was refunded by mistake.
I topup my balance and tried to pay the invoice again from the balance.
It did not work and I opened a support ticket to pay the invoice from the account balance.
Support staff replied that they done it, my account was charged, invoice marked as paid and service was shown with next due data January 2026.

After a week I received the email the hosting is terminated.
I contacted the support team via the same ticket and they replied with the worst style of Romanian mentality: in Romanian language saying that the hosting was canceled because I didnt pay it.

An exchange of the messages did not give any result, they didnt have any courage to admit their mistake (again in the worst style of Romanian mentality). And the final thing they refused to give me a full refund, saying they paid something to paypal. I know how PayPal works, if you issue the full refund [прочитайте больше...]

😠 Alexhost has to be the worst hosting company I ever used
Alexhost has to be the worst hosting company I ever used or heard of, they were unable to maintain even the basic functions of the web hosting. My webmail simply stooped receiving emails, This happened two times, and the second time I had to change the hosting company all together, which resulted in even more down time for my website and business. My webmail was out of service 4 days out of 7.

First time when the problem appeared they fixed it after two days. But not before trying to convince me that I have to upgrade to a dedicated server because for shared hosting they do not offer an option to change the IP or server. Even so this had nothing to do with me, the email just stooped receiving emails all of a sudden, no changes were made to the website code or hosting settings. The webmail only used 1% of the allocated space.

Second time the problem reappeared only after 4 days after they fixed it. This time they changed their strategy and tried to convince me the problem [прочитайте больше...]

😁 Full Stars. My first time writing a review. I have some problems with my site due to my ignorance and done something to the general settings. I was shocked when my site showed Error and i just don't know what to do. So I wrote a ticket and after that i also sent a chat asking about my current issues. Immediately I got a response in the chat only to inform me that my problem was already fixed. That fast?! I can't even believe it. I was surprised and when I checked, my site was already back to normal. Lol. They are really living up to their name, Alexhost. Very fast support, friendly and so reliable. 😠 Their servers are very slow. 1gbps bandwidth is a lie!
It made me feel like I was using slow dial-up internet from 2004!
When you want to upload your website's 10 gb wordpress files from Filezilla program to the server, you wait exactly 9 hours!
And on top of that, the upload is interrupted because the server is constantly crashing!

I bought servers from a lot of server providers before, they were all very good, but I am having such a problem with this company.
1 core processor servers from other major server providers outperform this alexhost's 16 core processor servers. I'm telling from my experience!

They did not fix the problem even though I opened a support ticket many times. I suffered a great loss as the server was constantly crashing and therefore my website could not be reached!

😁 I love the service. You know what I love the most? That most of the time, I don't need to contact them (unlike my previous hosting provider...) because things run the way they should. And when I do need to contact them, their team makes it a pleasure to resolve the issue and not a painful experience that makes things worse.

Also: the time to wait for a chat agent to help me is less than 5 minutes. In my case, it has been instant. I can't say the same about their competition (which let me wait in line for 3 hours!!!).

😠 I ordered a 1-year VPS from Alexhost. Even though the network was bad, the uptime was pretty OK. Everything was looking not too bad for 1/2 months, until my server went down.

Checked my service status, it was suspended. Sent a ticket, they replied with "Oh, no! you had 1-million flows going through our network" (which is absolutely laughable considering their network performance) with a link to their ToS. Even a 10-yo would've come up with a better excuse.

Checked their ToS, told them according to their very own ToS there is nothing wrong with my usage and asked them to provide details. They replied: "We're not going to unsuspend your service." That's correct, exactly ONE line with no evidence or details provided whatsoever.

I would strongly advise you NOT to pay in advance for longer than a-month, they will eventually find an excuse to shut your service down. and NO you wont get a refund.

That was my two cents

I have never had a problem with Alexhost uptime, but my sites are low-traffic. They keep upgrading accounts for free. My account has more than doubled in size since I signed up with them. Ignore bad reviews, and try yourself first. Sometimes reviews doesn't say nothing.
I'm using AlexHost Web Hosting Shared, since a good time, support is quick and fast. Very reasonable prices, cheap! Livechat always on

Their support are always useful, and they fixed some errors in Wordpress, which is good. I feel that even being cheap hosting, they provide a excellent service and hosting.

I recommend them. If you are looking for offshore hosting, then AlexHost is your answer.

😁 I had my websites hosted in several hosting providers. Some of them, use a excuse that they receive Copyright abuses and others, which is clearly fake.

I decided to move my website to AlexHost, until now. Certainly it was a good choice, my website runs more faster than before.

The support of AlexHost is fantastic, they help us with kindness that is a great attitude from a Hosting Provider.

They always are transparent and honest with clients, if you respect their Terms of Service and Acceptable Usage Policy, I think you never will face any issue.

The only "complaint" is their Network should be more fastest and the ping should be a little greater to Europe Countries. Maybe if they change their IP Transit or something. Unfortunately this is one cons.

I recommend everyone to try before criticizing or offending.
But overall, I’m pretty satisfied. And I was welcomed.

But my experience says the opposite!!

I had a good experience with AlexHost, they helped me to migrate to their hosting.

Their support are friendly and amazing. I'm sure they are very helpful in migrating your website with no costs. For free.

Also my website had received several abuses and takedowns, but AlexHost take care of them!

Amazing, I'm happy with them. I recommend anyone to give a try.

I have used their VPS are very cheap and not expensive.
Overall good performance and cheap prices.

They are cheap so, don't expect high quality. Reasonable and affordable offshore hosting.

Unfortunatly they don't have paysafecard and minero payments.

Overall I had a good experience and support has always available for helping me.

AlexHost have their own datacenter, their prices are cheap just take a lool to see, very cheap prices.

Not ONLY for privacy or VPN servers, but they ignore DMCA. They are really offshore hosting DMCA in moldova.

The ONLY cons is their network and Ddos Protection should be enabled always. And their network should be better. Is not bad, but is not the best.

Affordable dedicated servers and VPS. Support is quite fast. They normally Reply within 4 hours. That is the price you pay!

😁 Completely good datacenter, reselling with alexhost never been so easy, alexhost is a offshore hosting in moldova with a datacenter offshore that ignores DMCA, no claims, no takedowns.

Uptime is not bad, still being stable. Prices are decent! Cheap provider, they help move my website to them easily, just contacting them!

😁 AlexHost is an Anonymous Offshore Hosting in Moldova, their Anonymous Offshore Dedicated Servers in Moldova is DMCA Ignored.

Bitcoin payment is accepted, that is great thing. Support is quite fast replying in working days, in weekends sometimes have delays or not quite fast at all.

If you follow the rules and if you don't break Terms of Service / AUP you shouldn't have any problem!

Overall, it's a great experience. Unfortunatly, their DDoS Protection should be revised.
Great Support, and decent Dedicated Servers and fair prices, you get what you paid.
