Like (hopefully) everyone else in Canada, we have been moving all of our services away from US-based businesses wherever possible. In doing so, we realize we have been overpaying for a ton of stuff - but that's a separate discussion. We moved our Wordpress-based website from Bluehost to CanSpace and it is amazing knowing that we are supporting a Canadian-based business, AND as an added bonus, paying less by doing so. I encourage all Canadians to move their business away from the US and do your part. CanSpace is a great option for Canadian web hosting.

The price was excellent compared to other options I was looking at, and their web based site builder is extremely intuitive - I literally had my business site up and running in about an hour, which makes me feel silly for putting it off so long.
